Fundraising 101 is a newsletter and fundraising resource for Canadian fundraisers. However most of the information is generic and can easily be adapted to any non-profit situation. Each issue is 6-8 pages long. To learn of new issues as they become available you can follow my blog. You can also find short excerpts from each issue there.

The current issue is number 49, Raising Money on the Phone. It is about how to use the phone to renew lapsed donors and purge donors who effectively no longer exist. Some have moved and are untraceable. Some have passed on and some never intended to give you more than one donation. The phone can be your best tool for finding out if someone is worth keeping in your database.

Issue 48 is Simple Fundraising Ideas, and about just what the title suggests. There are a number of simple ideas presented to raise a little extra money outside of your normal fundraising campaigns because they are fun, raise morale and easy to organize.
